Caring for your Rashguards and Compression Wear

Why do I need to wear a rashguard?

Rashguards provide a protective layer between your skin and the mat, helping to prevent grazes, mat burn, and lowering the risk of skin infections. Our rashguards are also designed with moisture-wicking fabric to keep you dry and comfortable during training.

How to wash an MMA or BJJ Rashguard?

After training, it's recommended to wash your compression gear as soon as possible, don't leave it in your training bag overnight, as this can lead to a build up of mould and bacteria. If you're unable to wash it straight after training - hang up your compression gear to air dry and wash as soon as you're able to.

Turn your compression gear inside out prior to washing. It's recommended to run on a cold handwash cycle to ensure colours don't run.

How to dry an MMA or BJJ Rashguard?

Preferably air dry inside out on the line away from direct sunlight.

If you need to run through the dryer, place it on the lowest setting to avoid shrinkage or warping of your clothes.
